I bet my arse Lackey is sitting on a freaking goldmine of awesome pics…..pics he is selfishly keeping to himself. Thats why I’m stoked to see that he has decided to breath new life into his sick blog: thelackeyproject
He’s digging out some amazing unseen pics. So much content to froth over.
Rookies Usa always features DK heavily in their blog posts and it’s always quality. Not unlike the below shot. Head over and check them out. (Pic by Chris Burkar)
Here is the calendar for the all important DKWT for 2012. A quick browse of the locations shows a heap of the usual suspects……….and a new one. Yeah, Port Mac Pro!!!
Oh , it does my heart good to see an Australian location included this year. The bonus being that Port Macquarie is a rad place and not too much of a mission to get to.
So clear your schedules for mid April, that comp is going to be MASSIVE!
Check out this video of Jeremy getting some nice waves. His DK surfing has definitely progressed throughout 2011, so lets hope he keeps up the momentum and continues to rip on the knee.
The last surf for 2011. Its been a great year……..awesome waves, surf trips, comps, catching up with mates and generally a good year all round for bodyboarders.
At D’bah the swell had dropped from the past several days but was still worth getting a few in. I was impressed by the amount of DK riders out there. From grommies right up to the usual crew. Every where i looked there was someone getting up on the knee and it was good to see so many progressing. Below is a selection of some of the action from today.
2012…….lets hope it brings plenty of waves and that all DKers worldwide continue to help grow our sport for many years to come.
Tony has taken some nice DK pics recently. Included is a nice sequence of Jake Sharp surfing his local along with a few of Nick Goddard getting some air and throwing hard. Nick was only a grommie way back when we used to live in Coffs Harbour. Its so great to see him still on the knee and charging as hard as always.
