Home Break:Anywhere on the gold coast that is not crowded, but my true home break would be all local spots in Coffs Harbour NSW

Years DK: probably 3 or 4 years seriously. I used to be ride 50/50 DK/Prone but now 100% DK and loving it.

Natural/Goofy: Natural

Why DK: To me DK seems a lot more hardcore especially once you start doing big fast, long, drawn out turns, heavy floaters and of course nothing beats getting the tail out. I’m always watching stand up surfers to learn new techniques and lines to follow.

Favourite DK riders: Aka Lyman, Raffi Myer, Paul Roach, Rollins Wood, Keith Sasaki,  Fred Booth, Matt Lackey, Jake Sharp, Dane Pope….and after seeing him surf recently definitely Brandon Dawson. (This guy absolutely tears the bag out of every wave he surfs and is a solid rider in big surf.) plus all the DKS crew

 Favourite DK Movie/Section: All of them amp me up. Mainly the Roach sections in No Friends vids and his section in Enough Said. Also Fumanchu and The Untouchables best all DK movies.

Prefer Fronthand/Backhand: Like both directions as much as each other.

Favourite DK move: Backhand floaters, fronthand snap reverse, barrels and testing myself in big DK waves.

Future For DK (eg-moves,direction): Big DK rolls or ARS, longer floaters, bigger waves and a better comp schedule for DK riders would be better for the sport to progress.

DK Rippers At Your Local: Matt Lackey, Dylan Lee, Dane Pope, Stevie Llyod, Nathan Luton Korber, Tom MacFarlane, Martin Schmidt and all the others i missed who rip…you know who you are.
