Future For DK (eg-moves,direction):Well more money for the top guys would be epic, we’ve heard it said a million times. But if people can’t be paid to surf or follow a tour it’s hard for them to have steady exposure. Who will be the future then? I think DK will ALWAYS be about tail, but personally i would like to see more air moves, just big grabs, air reverse’s or even rolls. Solid rolls landing in Jack Stance, not that belly landing shit from the 90′s.

Anything Else: My name is Stevie Lloyd, I am 26 and I love the knee. Although it wasn’t always so. I grew up on Skipp and Stewart, nothing else mattered to me as a kid. I always liked the knee but never really bothered with it, and now I wish i started and never looked back. Then my mate Benny C started getting really good, i saw Logan, Shaun and Rat tearing apart Straddie, Lackey was blowing up and I was just searching for Roach and Aka sections more and more. Eventually i went from getting up 1 or 2 waves a surf to laying down the same number. I wish i could comfortably say i surf well on the knee, but my backside is disgusting, my sprays are too small and i barely throw tail. The best thing about DK is it’s fucking hard. Even harder to do well. Everytime you surf dedicated to the knee you can improve, the lads who do it tend to be the best crew in our sport and you will feel more stoke trucking through a wide pit on the knee then you ever will in your entire life.
