Why DK: DK is the most challenging thing, whether it’s 2ft or 8ft there’s always so much to learn. No one does it on our coast so why not!

Favourite DK Movie/Section: Phil Harnsberger in Boogie Knights, Heard it through the grape vine. Used to live for it as a grom!

Favourite DK move: Backhand air forwards atm, so freakin hard to time.

Future For DK: Hopefully someone continues with DKS in oz in the same way Clayton Pickworth sold his soul to keep running the best thing DK has had. Need more people like Picki in DK industry to get things moving… If mags & media pull their fingers out and take DK seriously, DK could blow up bigtime! No great loss otherwise, DKers tend to like being underground. Moves wise I suppose it’ll head in the way standup surfing with big airs but the real way, with no fins! Woo!
